Ricardo Giesen is the new Director of BRT+

We have the pleasure to announce that Professor Ricardo Giesen is our new Director. He is replacing the role of Professor Juan Carlos Muñoz who has been in charge since 2010 when BRT+ was founded.

The information was confirmed after the acceptance of a letter from the dean of the School of Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), Juan Carlos de la Llera, to VREF board members. As is explained in the letter, this change is due to the request of the Chancellor of PUC to Juan Carlos Muñoz to assume as Sustainability Chair. In order to take that new responsibility, it is needed of him to focus most of his time on this.

Juan Carlos will continue as a researcher and member of the executive board of the Centre. We are very thankful for the work done by Juan Carlos Muñoz these years, and we support the jobs that have been done by Ricardo in the Centre.
