Postdoctoral Research Position in Complete Streets policy and design

The Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics (DTEL) at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, host of the BRT Centre of Excellence ( and key member of the Centre for Sustainable Urban Development – CEDEUS (, is currently looking for a post-doctorate or experienced researcher to join our research group starting around July 2018.

We have a number of ongoing projects on different Public Transport issues in which the successful applicant could participate, leading some and/or collaborating with other researchers at the DTEL on others. We are looking for applicants interested in contributing to the Complete Streets project.

In this project we expect to understand and address the conflicting needs of people moving across extended areas surrounding main urban transport corridors and the needs of those that live, work, study or visit there. We welcome applicants with the ability to carry out interdisciplinary and collaborative research and an interest in the role transportation plays in rban sustainability.
